Caroline Sun built her reputation at the biggest publishing houses in the industry, spearheading the publicity campaigns for dozens of New York Times bestsellers throughout her career. She has worked with such honored creators as Mac Barnett, Neil Gaiman, Kevin Henkes, Jon Klassen, Loren Long, Kadir Nelson, Patrick Ness, Sara Pennypacker, Christian Robinson, Maurice Sendak, Jacqueline Woodson, and Mo Willems. She was also instrumental in launching the careers of acclaimed and bestselling authors including Becky Albertalli, Adam Gidwitz, Thanhha Lai, Julie Murphy, and Angie Thomas.

Since founding Sun Literary Arts in 2020, Caroline has curated a diverse list of clients, including: Abrams Books for Young Readers, HarperCollins Childrens Books, Lee & Low Books, Levine Querido, Little Brown Books for Young Readers, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, Norton Young Readers, McSweeney’s, Penguin Young Readers, Quirk Books, and Simon & Schuster Children’s Books. She’s had the honor of working with such talents as Tomi Adeyemi, Samira Ahmed, Mac Barnett, Dave Eggers, Marla Frazee, Vashti Harrison, Jon Klassen, Darcie Little Badger, Daniel Nayeri, Eliot Schrefer, Jon Scieszka, Lane Smith, Katie Yamasaki, Paula Yoo, and inaugural poet, activist, and bestselling author, Amanda Gorman.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Caroline earned her B. A. from Colgate University, and recently moved to California with her husband, author Matt de la Peña, and their two children.
